Interest in AIAA: I joined the AIAA Student Branch my freshman year after a presentation to my ENGR 1000 class from the President at the time. I had always wanted to work in aero-related fields, and joining this student branch, and gaining experience from project team in the branch, granted me ample opportunities to do so.
